Property & Casualty  Workers comp to cover Insependnt contractors

hello

my client has a total 19 employees and 10 of them are independent contractors. the payroll for the w2 emp is 550,000 and independent contractors are 150k. the company only needs a wc coverage for the independent contractors. the company has the other wc policy through an adp preferred vendor.

is the a company that will write this.

the company is ac and refrigeration

If these 10 employees are supervised or controlled by your insured, they are treated as employees under the primary workers compensation policy. If ADP is not collecting enough money for the exposure, they have a problem, but the Independent contractors are covered by that policy. You can't have a secondary policy because there is no way for either policy to not cover all employees.
