TAKING RESPONSIBILITY
One of the greatest challenges facing any organization is to get past blame-and-justify games.

People need to take responsibility — not for other people — but rather responsibility for themselves and to other people. Blame and justification cause unnecessary drama. Taking responsibility produces self-discipline and profitable results. If we find ourselves trying to take responsibility for others, chances are that we’re trying to control too much. This creates a problem because “the more we control, the less we can do.”
