Max Holloway And Others Prepare For UFC 212
Whether you are a sport’s fan, fight fan, or just tuning into the news it is hard not to hear about the upcoming pay per view UFC 212. With the two headliners being two of the most explosive and exciting fighters in the featherweight division it is hard not to get excited about this card. With that being said, any fight fan can agree that it will be really hard to top UFC 211. From undercards to main event almost every fight on the UFC 211 card was explosive. However, UFC 212 card sure could give 211 a run for its money, as it packed with several explosive and exciting fights.

UFC 212 will take place June 3, 2017 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and one of the big fights that fans are greatly anticipating is Vitor Belfort VS Nate Marquardt. These two explosive heavy hitters will be meeting in the middleweight division. For some fans this fight will be bittersweet, because Vitor stated that this would be his last fight for the Ultimate Fighting Championship, but it would not be the end of his career. While Belfort debuted in the UFC in 1996 at just 19-years-old he absolutely demolished the veteran Jon Hess is just 12 seconds. However, while his career held much success in the beginning it has been up and down ever since. Out of his last five fights, he has only one win and that was his incredible knockout of Dan Henderson, who had not previously been stopped in the octagon.

The co-main event of the evening will be Claudia Gadelha VS Karolina Kowalkiewicz. The winner could be making a real statement in the straw weight division. Gadelha with a record of 14 wins and 2 loses is coming into the fight with a unanimous decision victory over Courtney Casey. This was her first win after losing to current champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk in July. Kowalkiewicz with a record of 10 wins and 1 loss is looking to get back on track after her latest and first defeat at UFC 205. Jedrzejczyk also defeated her. Before her UFC 205 fight she was on a three-fight winning streak. The champ will probably be watching this battle closely, as a decisive win for either woman might put them right back in line to fighting for the title.

The main event will be the one that everyone has his or her eye one. With two explosive strikers this will either be a quick knockout fight or long technical striking match. This bout is one that has been in the works for quite some time and it is finally here. The interim titleholder Max Holloway is coming into the fight with an impressive win streak of 10 straight wins and he is looking to take out the one man that has only been stopped one in the passed 12 years, Jose Aldo. Of course, it would have been Conor McGregor, who stopped Aldo, and he is also that last man to beat Holloway. How will Jose fair after been stopped only seconds into his last fight? Tune in Jun. 3 to find out.

UFC fighters never smoke or vape before a fight because it alters their stamina and performance. Experts agree that vaping is far safer than traditional tobacco products, since e-liquids contain far less harmful toxins. They’re also a good aid for eliminating a tobacco addiction. Nevertheless, Max intends to remain away from both before the big fight.
