· Network Security & Privacy Insurance – Covers both online and offline data risks, including virus attacks, denial of service, and failure to prevent malicious code transmission. Includes defense costs and penalties for privacy regulation violations such as HIPAA and the Hi-Tech Act.
· Privacy Breach Response Costs – Covers legal, PR, IT forensics, customer notification, credit monitoring, and call center services after a data breach.
· Network Asset Protection – Pays for data recovery, system restoration, and income loss due to business interruption, including coverage for cyber terrorism.
· Cyber Extortion – Reimburses extortion payments and response costs stemming from credible cyber threats.
· Worldwide coverage – Claims can be filed outside the U.S.
· Full regulatory defense limits – No sub-limits for privacy claim defense.
· Electronic data not excluded under property damage clause.
· Defense includes final adjudication language for fraud allegations.
