3rd Party SchoolProUSA Program Insurance

What is SchoolProUSA Program Insurance?

SchoolProUSA is an innovative program that provides insurance solutions to schools and educational institutions across the United States. This program offers comprehensive coverage options to protect schools from various risks, including property damage, liability claims, and other unforeseen events that may disrupt the operations of an educational institution.

Schools are particularly vulnerable to risks due to the large number of students, staff, and visitors that they cater to everyday.  The SchoolProUSA program offers a range of insurance solutions to schools, including:

  • Property Insurance
  • General Liability Insurance
  • Workers’ Compensation, and
  • Umbrella Coverage

These policies can be tailored to meet the specific needs of each school and can provide protection against a wide range of risks.

The Purpose of Liability Insurance

Third-party liability insurance is an essential component of any insurance plan for schools and educational institutions.  It protects the insured school from legal liability for damages caused by a third party.  These damages could include bodily injury, property damage, or personal injury caused by a third party.

For example, if a student were to get injured on school grounds or during a school-sponsored event, the school could be held liable for medical expenses and other damages.  Similarly, if a contractor hired by the school were to cause damage to property or injure someone while working on school grounds, the school could be held liable for the resulting damages.

SchoolProUSA's Third-Party Liability Insurance Coverage includes legal representation and covers the cost of settlements or judgments up to the policy limit. This means that if a claim is made against the school, the insurance company will provide the necessary legal support and cover the costs involved.

As a precautionary measure schools should consider umbrella coverage and add it to their existing insurance portfolio.  The excess liability coverage provides an additional layer of protection that can help schools manage the financial impact of large claims or lawsuits.  This coverage can be particularly useful for schools that may be at risk of high-value claims or lawsuits.

This program also offers a range of additional coverage options that schools can choose from. These          include:

  • Cyber Liability Insurance
  • Crime Insurance
  • Directors and Officers Liability Insurance

Each of these policies provide additional protection against specific risks that schools may face.
