Ask Your Peers  Professional Liability for Land Data. Similar to Seismic Industry (Closed)

I have a consultant who gathers land data for land owners/land purchasers in the oil industry. According to him, he gathers all the information and hands it over to the client. He is not involved in making any of the decisions based on the data. We indicated that his contract language is going to be very important. He stated it may be very similar to someone in the seismic field providing consulting for an explosives contractor in land development or mining. Would this be someone who writes professional for the environmental industry?

I can't write in MD, but wouldn't it just be an Engineering Consultant Policy.
