Is there a stand alone market or a homeowners insurer that will insure for CPL when there is a dog bite claim in the insured's history and the dog is still alive?

Only time I ever had this issue- I had to go to Lloyds since the Brazilian War Dog had 3 count them "3" bite claims within a year. Owners wouldn't put it down.

Hi Mike,

I'm assuming the dog is still on the property? I made a few calls to some companies I know handle CPL in CA and it doesn't look like any of their markets will entertain it if the dog is still on the property.

Hope the community can help and get you pointed in the right direction.

Thank you!
Erin
