I need to find a small (under $350K) Performance bond for a client of mine. He has assets and his credit core (according to him) is decent. Any takers?

I was going to ask the same about the history. We would be happy to take a look at it if you want to send it over to [email protected].

Thanks!

Does bad history mean he has bad credit or that he has had a bonding company pay a claim? There is a big difference, bad credit is something that you can work with. Bad performance history with bonds is not going to be fixable. Everyone who is asking and you need to know and understand what is the financial situation.

Hi Felix!

I tried looking for Bid Bonds specifically, but they came up empty. So i searched for something more General and found one company that offers Bonds Insurance in CA. You can contact Grand General Agency Here. I am not sure what their policy is with bad history, but I would suggest reaching out to them to see. It looks like you are also getting some great comments that might be helpful as well!

Good Luck!

Felix, I deal with sub par construction bonds monthly and can get them issued in a week. Working capital has to be at a minimum of 5% and as above they have to have a good bonding history or they can have no bonding history. Feel free to call my office at 336-778-1448 if we can help you.
