My client needs Residential Rental Property in Florida. The house is used as a vacation home, but they would like to start renting it out. Any suggestions on who can write this?

Depends on the location, value, age and construction. I have access to several E&S carriers that may be able to help again depending on location,
values, age and construction on coverage that would be available.

I agree with Mr. Felts that Univ Prop & Casualty may be of help. My rental condo is insured thru them but underwriting may have changed since I insured it 5 years ago.

I know CBIZ and Proper Insurance have programs for this type of property. Not certain they operate in FL, but worth a shot.

Security First Ins Co.. I write with them for these all the time in St. Augustine. No age restrictions, No 4pts, they write wind in the wind pool & will write a HO-3 secondary with weekly rental exposure.
