I've got a small pest control company in California with a lapse in Work Comp coverage. Any ideas on options? SCIF cancelled and won't reinstate until they finalize his audit which he has in writing may be up to eight weeks. Part of the challenge is that he is a small operation, so payroll is under $60K annually. Thoughts? Ideas?

Who is the GL/Auto with? Auto-Owners, Amtrust, AllRisks will do work comp.

With the lapse in coverage the most competitive markets "AmTrust, First Comp" are probably not going to take unless they have a supporting line of business. National Indemnity will probably look at it but base rate is going to be around $18/$100.
