Need a market for a risk who has about 11 VAC-Con and Super Sucker trucks plus some pickups for sales/service use. They on occasion go from Chattanooga TN to as far as Miami (796 miles), but total miles driven last year were about 47K including a total of 21 vehicles. Currently insured with State Farm (who obviously doesn't know what they 're insurance) and I don't think SF is covering the equipment (looks like a mess). Record is very good with little to no claims. The big trucks are often parked on site for extended periods of time which leads to the low mileage.

Any good ideas that won't cost them $75 grand?

Thanks for the help.

I would use Liberty Mutual very low pricing on CA. You could use Berkshire Homesite but probably higher. HICI might insure them. National General and progressive will be expensive.

We have a sister company, Onpoint Underwriters, who have a program for Construction Equipment that might work for this. You can contact Madeline Feld, who heads up the program at 913-312-2880 or [email protected]. I hope that helps.

Hi Randall,

I did a market search for the risk you are looking to get coverage for. I may have found 2 companies that write for long haul trucking, local trucking and provide liability.

Please click here to view the 2 companies and their storefronts and if you would like a quote you can fill out the multi-submit contact form to request a quote from both companies.

Please let me know if you have any questions!
