It seems as though workplace wellness programs benefit employee retention and productivity.  Would this be enough motivation to make you want to offer a workplace wellness program in your organization?

There can be direct work related advantages for both employers and employees.  Over half of the program participants have reported that wellness benefits have encouraged them to work harder and perform better.  59% of those participants have credited their participation in a wellness program with giving them more energy and thus has made them more productive at work.

There were 34% of workers that could participate in a workplace wellness program and still did not.

Tip: To ensure the success of wellness programs, employers should provide incentives for employees to participate.

The question still remains is the 59% that reported they had more energy that helped them become more productive at work, enough motivation to offer a workplace wellness program?
