Ask Your Peers  Open Enrollment for the Florida Market Place-Affordable Care Act 

Hello Everyone!
I have been selling P & C for the past four years. (through my own small agency). I am 215 lic but didn't get on board last year with the launch of the new reform open enrollment and for what I hear I missed out a great opportunity. So, needless to say.. I want to start selling health insurance now but after getting the accreditation and signing up with a couple of health carriers I am not understanding how am I going to sell through the Marketplace. I have been told the customer has to create a login/password through the Marketplace and start the application process. Then at that point we can assist the customer in choosing a health plan and provide our NPN to obtain commissions. This means that I will have to do this in person? for the most part. I have been approached by some agencies only interested in captive agents.
Can I get some advice the most effective approach to sell during open enrollment through the Marketplace? I would be interested in working with another agency for as long as it is not captive.
