Hello All,

I need help finding a market for a sign installation company. The company started out small but has grown over the last couple years. They install LED signs for banks, railroads, highways etc. They currently have a staff of 16 employees and need workers compensation, however the workers compensation is only for the employees who install the signs and go out in the field. I need help finding at least a million dollar workers comp policy for 7 sign installers.

Why is it only for the installers. Is everyone else covered by a PEO or for some reason not an "employee". You can't pick/choose which employees are covered. What do you mean "at least a million dollars"? Are you referring to the Employers Liability section? You would need an umbrella to go over $1m/$1m/$1m. The workers compensation section does not have a limit of coverage.

Being in Alabama, I am not familiar with Work Comp laws in PA, but I would think the employer would be required to cover all employees, including Sales, Clerical, et al. If you apply on this basis, there should be several markets which would consider it.
