Ask Your Peers Work Comp for Towing Companies (Closed)

Good Afternoon,

I was inquiring to see if anyone could assist me with this dilemma. Quite a few towing operations in my area of New Jersey have a towing company and repair operation. These companies do about 30-40% towing and the rest in truck or auto repair. I cannot find a market to write these and many of them are in the Assigned Risk but are excellent risks with very low experience mods. If anyone could assist me it would be greatly appreciated. Nick, first, which markets have you been to? What you might want to do is approach AmWins or AllRisk as they have agreements with markets to write small programs $10K and up. Is that something that might assist?

Also, many of the workers compensation coverages include a class code, do you have the class code available?

Have you tried FirstComp/Markel? If your clients do any repo work, that's a no. But if not, they may entertain your risks.

Wow, I cannot believe how fast you responded to a total stranger. I really do appreciate all of your insight and suggestions. Erin, the class code is 8397.
