I have heard that BTIS contract doesn't stack up very well with preferred/admitted carriers. I'm not sure if that is because of contractual liability or if there are exclusions or what, it's just something that I heard from an Amtrust employee. If anyone recommending BTIS wants to offer a differing opinion or comparison of products, I would love to have more info.

I'm intrigued. It's funny because we're owned by Amtrust, so I don't know why an AmTrust employee would feel we have sub-standard forms, when they are the same forms our parent company uses. We should talk, please give me a call at 916-960-4441.

I know that Amtrust owns BTIS, that's why I mentioned it. I don't really need to call you because I don't use BTIS and have many preferred carriers to insure contractors. I was just contributing to the forum based on information received. I don't think the general liability forms are the same as Amtrust General Liability forms but I can't be certain. I am actually competing against BTIS on a potential client and hoping to see the forms in the near future. Thanks,
