I'm looking for a standard carrier that will write GL and Property for pharmacies from Florida to Nevada. We have an insured that has them all over and is constantly opening more. We've had to piece a lot of them together due to the property in Florida or states they cannot write in. Just don't want to keep having to split it all up. All suggestions are welcome. - Travelers, Cincinnati, and Hartford are not writing property in Florida.

I don't know if you can find a standard one but have you checked Amtrust or Berkshire AmGaurd Program. Perhaps you might have to reach out to an mga or create a program with a standard carrier to have one tailored to meet your clients needs.

AmTrust is on the comp on some of them. We are fine on the comp. They don't want the other lines. Cincinnati is on some of them too. Developing a program is a great idea and is probably what we will have to do. Thank you.

I may be able to help, have a Lexington Program for Durable Medical Equipm dealers and extends to Pharmacies..E&S yes, but low min premiums/rates and wind ded may apply.

I can do the pharmacies even the one in FL with a Standard carrier. As long as the losses are good. You can call me if you want to talk about it 540-992-6202

Betty - If you want we can also access Hanover Healthcare as they write the class, not sure if FL presents issues though with property other than normal deductible for wind/hail.

If you end up needing PL, I would contact [email protected]. HPSO has a pharmacy program that pays 15% commission for PL, and covers compounding, flu shots, vaccinations, etc.

CNA has the HPSO program and I have had great results with writing the Property and GL with them directly. They have written in Florida for us but excluding wind. let me know if I could be of help thanks Marc

Marc, we currently write professional on these with CNA through the HPSO program. Although we have CNA direct, if we go through HPSO because it is written on an occurrence form instead of a claims made form. In regards to the GL and Property, we have also written the GL through HPSO on some. And Cincinnati has written some of the GL and Property. Cinci's Florida rates are just outrageous. I'll try HPSO on all lines next time. I appreciate your input. Thank you.

Our company has wrote the insurance for a National chain with locations all over FL so should be able to write yours.
