As we pause to remember the brave men and women who were lost on 9/11 it is important to remember the impact that event had on our industry. The Terrorism Risk Insurance Act of 2002 (TRIA) is due to expire in 2014 and as agents we need to put pressure on Congress to push for an extension of this Act to protect our clients. Talk to your fellow agents and mention it in your social media groups. I did a quick search and know that there are wholesalers in CompleteMarkets that offer coverage for terrorism insurance. Do any agents here have experience with this type of risk?
