Good afternoon and happy Friday! I'm looking for a wholesaler with access to State Auto. Also, I'm looking for Hired & NOA coverage monoline for a contractor. Any ideas? Thanks!

Hi David,

Sunderlands, Great Divide, & Prime Insurance offer mono-line HNOA. As for State Auto not sure of any wholesalers that have access, my suggestion would be to find an alternate carrier if possible. What LOB are you trying to place with State Auto?

Hi David,

Hope you are doing well and happy Friday!

I have a few companies that will write the HNOA, but it has to be written in conjunction with a commercial auto policy. Unfortunately, I could not find any company that we work with, that writes HNOA on a monoline basis. It looks like David has some great suggestions for you though!

Please let me know if I can help in any way.

Thank you!
Erin

There is an agent look up on State Auto's website: http://stateauto.com/FindAnAgent/?lo=-96.64777709999998&la=40.7422154&insuranceType=Businesses&zip=68516

On the HNOA auto, why will the GL carrier not offer? The carriers we use for contractors GL will usually offer the HNOA...

Auto-Owners has my best Package quote so far, but they don't want the HNOA as they consider the Insured as a General Contractor. They don't want to write HNOA for GCs. Writing it all together makes the most sense to me too.

Have you contacted Colonial General or BTIS? Also what kind of contractor work does the insured perform? You could also contact Atlas General to discuss coverage options, they have excellent contractor programs and great commission splits.
