Ask Your Peers  Personal Inland Marine/Equipment Floater Coverage SC

I have an insured that is looking for an inland marine policy (as he had in MD) for his Bobcat. The Bobcat has no commerical use, personal only. It is used around the home property for mulching, yard work, etc.

The property coverage is limited at best on the HO3 and he wants a separate policy to cover replacement. However, I am having trouble finding a market for this. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Ann

Hello Ann!

I hope you are having a wonderful Friday! I performed a search for Inland Marine Programs in Maryland, and 7 companies came up in the results. You can view those results Here

From the results page you can press the orange Request A Quote Now! button to request a quote from all of the companies listed in the results. Or you can learn more about what each company has to offer and contact them directly by clicking on their company logo.

I hope this information helps point you in the right direction!

Happy Friday!

I don't know why you would need an inland marine when you could put replacement cost and social cause of loss endorsement on the home policy for a lot less money and hassle. As long as it's for personal use there would not be an exclusion or sublimit for that your of personal property on a standard iso form; or write an ho5 like all home policies should be if the carrier has them available
