Does anyone have a market for controlled burning GL?? Essex has apparently pulled out of this area and I'm not finding a replacement.
Thanks.

We have the same issue here in Nebraska. We are also looking for a market. I even contacted Essex direct was was given the following answer for the reason for their withdrawal:

"I can confirm that we no longer offer this coverage through the program being offered by a wholesaler in OK. We never gained enough traction in the marketplace to justify the program and it falls outside of our typical appetite so we are not offering coverage on a standalone basis either. Sorry I couldn’t be of more help on this account. I wish you good luck in finding a home for your client."

Keep my posted on your efforts to find a replacement market and i will do the same for you.

Stephen,

We used to do a program for controlled burn in Iowa... we could contact the underwriter who is at a different carrier now to see if he would entertain. E-mail an application and loss info so I can approach him.

Hi Stephen,

I may have found a company that can help you with the market you need, however I need a little bit more information. The company would like to know if this would be fore fire training or burning of property?

Please get in touch with me at your earliest convenience.
