I need a market for Residential Apartments with first Floor Retail in Manhattan. Typical older masonry buildings built in early 1900's. Most have been gutted and renovated over the years. Excellent Loss History. Roughly $15,000,000 in Structure value and $3,500,000 in Loss of Rents. Is there a voluntary market that will entertain these or are these normally written only in Excess and Surplus?

Have you tried contacting Phly or Hartford for this type of risk? You could also check with Distinguished Programs, they have a NY Brick & Brownstone product that may accept this type of exposure.
