Hi,

I have an insured who has created a LLC company for tax purposes. Under this LLC he bought a golf cart and he wants to have the policy written under the LLC's name, not under his personal name.

Is there anyone who can help?

Is it a low-speed vehicle that has been tagged and titled with the state (converted golf cart) or a basic golf cart? That can make a difference.

The golf cart is used for personal purposes. They have other vehicles too, but those have already been placed on a commercial Auto. However, that carrier doesn't want to take the golf cart on the same policy.
So now I am trying to search for insurance only for this one cart. The insured insists in having the coverage under the LLC's name.

It is a low-speed vehicle, has a VIN#.

That's a real bummer. We consider golf-carts when registered for road use but not when it's going to be used for personal purposes. We also have a five vehicle minimum, which is why I inquired about additional units. Hope you find a good home for this one.
