Ask Your Peers Animation Contractor needs GL w/ Waiver of Subrogation

I have a prospect who does animation work as a contractor. He needs GL for a new contract he has been offered via a staffing agency. Staffing agency requires it be named as an additional insured AND have a waiver of subrogation clause in the insurance contract.

Talked to a couple of wholesalers but couldn't find a market due to either (1) class of busienss = video animation and/or (2) the request for waiver of subrogation.

Have you spoken with Zurich? They offer Film Production and Entertainment insurance. I don't see anything on their storefront as far as waiver of subrogation, but you could contact them and see if this is something they can write. I couldn't find any other company that writes video/production etc in Texas. Let me know if they cannot help and I can dig around some more for you.
