Elizabeth,
Both Event Cancellation Insurance and Weather Insurance can cover this type of risk. Event Cancellation would cover the event's gross revenue or expenses if an uncontrollable circumstance, including the weather, causes it to be cancelled, postponed or abandon. Weather Insurance covers a specific amount of rain falling during a specific time period. Remember that with both products, coverage must be bound at least 14 days prior to the event. Please don't wait until a few days before the event when the forecast is calling for rain. By then it will be too late.
