Hi Jason,

Are they oven cooking, cooking with a microwave, or fry cooking?

Jason,

You might try Anita Steel at VGMSU / 913-433-2326 (EXT 234) / [email protected] ... She is the Director of Underwriting there.

Hi Jason,

Happy Friday!

We found (8) companies that write Convenience Stores/Mini-Marts in Arkansas. I couldn't see anything specific about an ansul system, however, I would recommend doing a multi-submit quote request to all of them just to play on the safe side. You can write additional notes in there about your client's operation so that they are aware of the specific needs.

Here is a link to do a submission to all of the companies.

Please let me know if you need any additional assistance.

Thank you!
Erin

Our Agency places for over a dozen C Stores in GA and AL. We STRONGLY recommend they have ANSUL with a service contract. Grease fire is the largest single hazard to the property, and we don't want that loss ratio. We have found in 5 years that none of the Carriers with whom we work will write without ANSUL 300 WET IF there is a fryer present, and they are wise about that.
We have found Scottsdale and Cap Specialty will write if there is a stove top, but no fryer present. IF they cooking is microwave/pizza oven (chain drive electric, like Hunt Bros, etc.), then you have several who will.
We have had C Store clients who have learned the long term value of insurance savings to have the ANSUL, and have installed systems to better their insurability. Hope all that helps, Jason. I appreciate your regular appearances here.
