Need a Workers Compensation carrier (or several) that are willing to write small home healthcare companies. We write in all 50 states so are looking for either one carrier that is nationwide or different ones per state that can assist us.

While we cannot assist with the Work Comp, I would like to extend our assistance with any of the required surety bonds that are needed for this program. You can reach me at 800-737-4880 or a1suretybonds.com.

Hi Christina,

Our Find It search tool allows you to search by market and by state for ANY coverage for ANY industry that you need. I did a quick search for those who write "Home Healthcare" in California and most of the companies that came up write nationwide. I suggest using the "Request a Quote Now" button which will allow you to send one request for information to all of the companies at the same time.

Please feel free to reply back if you need more assistance!

Chartis writes them as well. Not sure what their minimum premium is though. Where are you writing the General Liability/Professional?

The issue is that a lot of carriers do "write " home health care but they either have high minimum premiums or do not write start ups or businesses with less than 3 yrs of being up and running. This is the niche that we are needing. We lose the liability portion because we can't get the WC written. AIG/Chartis won't write these smaller ones/ start ups.

Hi Christina,

I spoke with Zack Seigel at Irwin Siegel Agency Inc. who writes Home Healthcare Agencies Insurance. He said that they do write start ups and business with less than 3 years running. Their storefront shows they can write some policies with a minimum premium of $2,500.

Here is his contact information:

Cristina,

I am a multi year award winning agent in financial planning, insurance and benefits for small business firms. I am based in Ohio and work in a number of additional states and have clients from Virginia to Ohio and out to Colorado. Some products are only available in one or two states, some products and services are available in a number of states and some products and services are available nationally.

There are only a few states which allow discounting Workers Compensation Premiums. Ohio is one of those states and I do help clients with that need. I do not work with Workers Comp outside of Ohio.

If you are looking for other benefits like Health insurance I am licensed in several states including Ohio and Indiana. I am also Obamacare Certified so I can offer products that are Marketplace , Exchange or private products off the exchanges.

If a company does not offer employees Obamacare product I do have available some minimed or limited indemnity products that can be used as stand alone products or can be used together with a Bronze plan for example to keeps premiums down and still help fill the gaps in coverage. These products are offered in most states.

If a client company does not want to do either I have available at no cost to the company or the employee a prescription discount card that can save the employees as much as 70% on their prescription medications

Please feel free to call me contact me or email me anytime
