My agency is losing our Louisiana sand and gravel haulers auto liability policies to another local agency and I cannot figure out what carrier they are using, nor can I come close to competing with the rates that agency is offering. I have submitted to about 80 companies(mix of carriers and brokers) with no luck.
For instance, for the current account I am working on my best current quote is $18,000 for 2 units. Customer says they have quote from this mysterious agent for $10,000. That's a huge difference! Dump trucks make up the majority of my books. Please help!!
