Amwins Program Underwriters' Trailer & Work Truck Manufacturers insurance program is designed for the trailer manufacturing and manufacturers of work truck bodies industries. Whether your client manufactures and installs snow plows, water tanks, trailers, fire trucks, tow trucks or anything in between, our program can offer a solution. The program is provided on an admitted basis unless otherwise indicated.

Program Sweet Spot: Manufacturers, distributors and installers or truck bodies, trailers and equipment. RVs, buses, and campers are not eligible.

Eligible Risks:
The program is designed exclusively to meet the unique exposures of the truck equipment industry and trailer manufacturers.

At least 75% of a company's revenue must be generated from truck equipment manufacturing or installation.

Truck equipment is defined as any equipment that is designed for mounting on bare trucks chassis to convert the truck to a special use vehicle such as, but are not limited to:

Ambulance/emergency response trucks
Beverage trucks
Dump trucks
Fire trucks
Tow trucks
Utility trucks

Trailer manufacturers must generate at least 90% of their total sales through trailer dealers.

Eligible types of trailers include, but are not limited to:

Utility trailers
Cargo trailers
Heavy equipment trailers
Semi-trailers
