Ideal Accounts and Appetite

This program targets motorsports facilities and organizations of varying sizes and complexity. You can place both large, event-driven tracks and smaller, member-focused operations. Typical fits include:

  • A short-track oval that runs regional race series on weekends and operates a weekday driving school.
  • A private car club that hosts time trials and track days for members and occasional public events.

We are comfortable with accounts that have liquor exposures, participant legal liability concerns, complex property values, and multi-event schedules. Accounts with unusual or extreme hazard modifications should be submitted with full underwriting details for review.

Territories and Availability

The Motorsports Race Tracks Insurance Program is available nationwide — all 50 states and Washington, DC. Admitted policy options are offered where appropriate to match regulatory and client needs.

Underwriting Notes

Minimum premiums and carrier placement vary by operation and exposure profile. Flexible deductible and self-insured retention structures are available. When submitting, include event schedules, participant controls, security and medical response plans, property valuations, and prior loss history to help expedite review.

AGENCY LICENSING

Licensing
Each state’s regulatory department requires licensing for any broker soliciting coverage within that state. Failure to maintain proper licensing status can result in penalties not only to the broker, but also to the insurer. Therefore, in addition to the completed Broker Agreement, we require that you provide the following:

1.      A copy of your resident license and, if applicable, non-resident licenses for each state in which you have an account insured with our program.

2.      A copy of your agency’s corporate license issued by your state's Department of Insurance.
