Expertise. Solution. Service.

High-Risk Personal Umbrella Coverage from MAXIMUM

When standard umbrella markets decline, MAXIMUM provides a solution. Our Personal Umbrella – High Risk program is built specifically for challenging personal-lines exposures that fall outside typical underwriting guidelines. Whether you’re placing households with multiple drivers, high-value assets, or complex claims histories, MAXIMUM gives you the underwriting flexibility and excess liability limits to deliver reliable protection.

Ideal Accounts and Appetite

This program is designed for accounts that don’t fit into preferred umbrella markets. We welcome:

• Households with youthful operators under 23 or older drivers over age 85
• Unlimited drivers, autos, RVs, and watercraft (watercraft up to 75 ft. or 50 mph)
• Risks with open claims or significant claim histories (including single claims over $50,000)
• Households with up to 10 moving violations or 5 at-fault accidents in the last three years*
• One drug- or alcohol-related offense in the past five years*
*Eligibility depends on total incidents per driver

Typical fits include families with multiple teenage drivers, boat owners with prior claims, and retired clients with older recreational vehicles and complex driving histories.
