Trap & skeet, sporting clays and preserve hunting are the specialties of this program. Hunting preserves can offer turkey, deer, wild hog and exotic game hunting, as well as upland and waterfowl. There may be guided or unguided fishing on lakes or ponds and there is often use of small watercraft. Many operations have lodging or food service. There will likely be a pro-shop which may sell guns, ammunition and equipment related to shooting sports; kennels with dog training and instruction; and large pens where quail, pheasant, partridge and hens are raised for release. Sponsored tournaments and special events may be a part of this industry's needs.
