We are looking for an experienced underwriter to join our commercial lines team. This is a new business/marketing focused position. The successful candidate will...
* Have a minimum of 3 years experience underwriting commercial property & GL
insurance. Experience with garage/auto dealer coverage is a plus
* Be comfortable working on both contract binding authority & brokerage business
* Be willing to participate in our marketing efforts which will include in office visits
and tradeshows (overnight trips on occasion)
* Be an effective communicator via phone, email and in person
* Work well in a collaborative environment and be an active contributor to team
discussions
