Leading wholesale insurance brokerage launches new specialized program

New York, NY, February 27, 2019 – Program Brokerage Corporation (PBC), a leading wholesale insurance brokerage firm announced the launch of a new, comprehensive insurance program for Trade Contractors in New York State. The specialized insurance solution, underwritten by an A rated carrier, offers a wide range of coverage with no “action-over” or labor law exclusions.

Through this robust new offering, both interior and exterior trades are eligible; with some limited exceptions (scaffolding, street and road, water sewer main, demolition, structural steel, pile driving and foundation work) Some other program highlights include: minimum premium is $75,000 or $65,000, if outside of New York City’s five boroughs and a $15,000 deductible, with a $25,000 for labor law related claims.

“Trade contractors face a variety of liability exposures due to the nature of work they perform.
