In Arkansas and Texas, need source for monoline single unit owner/operator log truck insurance. Must accept new venture if owner has been driving for another company for at least 2 years. 1M limits. Have the prospects, but have not been able to offer them a competitive quote. Thanks for your help.

We have a market for both states (Arkansas and Texas) as long as the driver has experience and a decent credit score. Berkshire-Hathaway Homestate Companies (A+ Rated) has accepted single-unit Logging Operations for our agency and their underwriting is very fair. I recently had the same situation and found Progressive to do a nice job in Pennsylvania anyway. I did not expect them to be competitive but they were.

It looks like Milton and Tony gave some good suggestions.

I was able to find 4 companies that should be able to help you, though I don't see if they are competitive or not, all of these companies write in Arkansas and Texas.

Insential has a Commercial Auto program, and it looks like they cover Logging Business Auto. You can request a quote from Insential Here.
