I need a company that can write sawmill workers comp in PA. It's a small company around 5 employees, revenue last year was less than $100K. This is a specialty lumber company.

All depends on what payroll is and if they have had WC before. One of my companies has to have at least 100k in payroll and 3 years previous. Other one will do with at least 1 year previous and 3 employees

Hi Demetri,
I can offer you a PEO solution if they are in need of Workers' Comp. A-Rated Carrier right here in house.

Our Coverage MAP is attached. Min premium for PA is 40k. This may be a little high for this company but if you have other risks that are "Hard to Place" that is what we specialize in.

Thank you, Melissa

Dimetri,

I wanted to also send you some information if you are still looking for a carrier for everything besides the WC for sawmills and woodworkers in PA.

I don't believe your agency has worked with Pennsylvania Lumbermens Mutual in the past. We specialize in the lumber, woodworking and building material industries in all commercial lines except WC. And because we know this is a particular niche, we work in an open market way, without contracts, minimums or production requirements -- we just want to be an available admitted market for your wood-related clients.

Feel free to give me a call at 267-825-9090 or email at [email protected]

Also, to get more info about PLM, please request one of our Producer Kits here: http://www.plmilm.com/doing-business/broker-kit/

Hope we can chat soon on this or any other risk. Thanks!
