I remember (and many of you do, too) life before email. I went to school, worked, and kept in touch with friends and family just fine without it. And then came email. At first, I was not compelled to use it. Sure, it was new and novel. But at the time, I could not imagine how pervasive it would become.

And so it goes.

Social media is here. Looking back years from now, will you wonder how you managed without it? All manner of communication (personal and professional) is shifting toward social media. No longer a “nice to have,” or a novelty, social media has become a “utility.”
