Have a client who built a building on skids,(meant to be moved), that has to be moved. Will go about 30 miles over a day. This structure will be used commercially when it gets to its destination. Is there any kind of trip or moving coverage for this besides what the professional mover has?

The movers should cover during transit under the cargo policy. Depending on the building type you may be able to get some sort short term builders risk policy that covers in transit but I'm not aware of what markets will play ball in this arena.

Douglas, Do NOT rely on the coverage provided by the mover. It has (as all policies do) multiple restrictions and the loss settlement, should there be a claim, would probably not make you insured whole after the loss.
You will want to discuss with your insured a Trip Transit coverage. This can be procured from any number of E & S Brokers and from some standard carriers as well.
Make certain that the insured asks for a proper limit of coverage, be aware of coinsurance language, look at the perils insured against as well as the loss settlement provisions.
Hope that this helps you.
