Hello Larry, Yes Sir you can. If you are an Independent Agent, it would be to your advantage to try to get direct appointments however, in addition, it is beneficial to get appointed with a GA who offers personal lines to give you an advantage of having access to some Admitted Carriers who otherwise do not offer direct appointments to either smaller Agencies and/or newly licensed agents.
