Ask Your Peers  Roofing Coverage In California?

Hello,

I have a roofing contractor that needs open roof coverage and full torch down coverage in the state of California. I keep running into markets that want to limit the amount of torch down work my client can perform or wanting to add low “sub limits” for this type of work. Anyone have any markets or suggestions they can give me?

Hi, my wholesale operation focuses on contractors GL and excess in multiple states and roofers are one of our most frequently written classes of business. With over 12 roofing markets available I can definitely help you with this risk. I have an A rated carrier that offers full torch down coverage without limiting this type of work to a certain % of their operations. This carrier also offers open roof coverage as well. Send me your accords 125,126 and any contractors supplemental and I will get to work for you right away.

Thank you and feel free to call
me to discuss your account further

Hi Elizabeth,

I'm a Wholesale Broker with over 90 construction markets (all rated "A-" VII or better) with a national footprint (can write in any state)... including those with roofing appetites... depends on what type of roofing work they are doing (Commercial? Residential tract? Condo? New Custom Home? Reroofs only?), gross receipts and in what state as to which markets we'd approach. We do have markets that do not limit torch down work and can give 'intent to cover' open roof wording rather than a full blown open roof exclusion. Give me a call if you'd like to discuss further or need me to send you a roofing and contractors supplemental - will be needed along with the Acord and loss runs - if a new venture then resume/statement of benefits. I can be reached at (559) 447-1944 or [email protected] I hold a CRIS (Construction Risk Insurance Specialist) designation and have been wholesaling for over 12 years... in insurance for over 25... Hope to hear from you!
