I need a market to write an estate in NJ that is rented out for special events like weddings & receptions. It has three buildings on it. Coverage is needed for Property & Liability on the buildings & premises. All vendors are required to provide their own coverage & hold the venue owner harmless. Thank you!

Most of your Wholesalers/MGAs should be able to write this with one of their contract binding markets. Should be class code 44276 - Halls - Other Than Not-For Profit.

Ronald, USLI has a great product for GL & the Special Event Liability, however, Property is not their forte. You can call USLI for a quote over the phone (866-304-3853) and place the property on a monoline basis (which might end up a cheaper route to go).

If the estate is a historic property, check out National Trust Insurance Services. Their historic program can provide an admitted option that not only captures the venue exposure, but provides Historic Replacement Cost for the building and can build in other coverage specific to historic properties. www.nationaltrust-insurance.org

Even though the coverage is pretty unique, the premiums are still competitive.
