My client owns their own landscaping business and are currently insured. He works on commercial and residential locations, has 6 employees and needs to have Liability coverage and Workers Compensation.

Any ideas for a company that can help with this?

Hi Carla,

I would suggest contact Altas General Insurance Services, they have an excellent GL product through Rockingham and should be able to place the work comp. If not you could also check with All Insurance Underwriters and/or Empire Underwriters for the work comp.

Good Luck!

Hi Carla,

I offer affordable Workers' Compensation Insurance and Payroll Service on a "Pay as you go" basis through SouthEast Personnel Leasing. NO contract. NO annual audits. NO partial premium down. I could have comp in place within a day or two. GL within the week.

We are out of Holiday, FL near Tampa.

Our coverage is offered through Lion Insurance, the A-Rated Insurance Carrier we own.

SouthEast specializes in your "hard to place" risk- construction, staffing, high Mod, new companies, 1 or more employees.

Contact Florida Homebuilders (www.fhbinsurance.com) and ask them to place the GL through Mid-Continent. They have a direct contract with Mid-Continent.

I don't know if they're licensed in Florida, but www.btisinc.com has GL and WC for Landscapers
It's through AmTrust

Brownyard Group launched a landscaping program, GroundCover, earlier this year. We can offer General Liability (included Professional), Commercial Property, Inland Marine and Business Auto. It's an admitted program written through Arch Insurance (which is rated A+ by AM Best). You can find more information at http://brownyard.com/insurance-programs/landscape-insurance/
