Have an insured who is leaving 1-800-Got-Ju** to start their own business. They will be decluttering and doing debris removal for residential and commercial clients from elder care to cleaning out foreclosures. Is this a contractor GL class and is there any standard carriers writing this or is it E&S?

Hi Jeffery!

I have a company that may be able to help. Legends Environmental Services offers Contractors Pollution Insurance for Debris Removal.

You can see more information about what they have to offer Here.

Would this work for what you are looking for.

Depends on the extent of their services. If they will be doing removal of anything hazardous (Lead, mold, asbestos, crime scene or meth lab clean up, etc) you are better to go the environmental route. Minimum premiums start at $2,500 if you go that way and can include CGL, pollution and professional for that price. Otherwise, could do CGL alone. Make sure to do a break out of the payroll for workers that do the actual clean up versus the truck driver classification. If you need help, e-mail me at [email protected]

Hi Jeffery!

I hope you had a great weekend! I was not able to find a company that could help you with exactly what you were looking for, but I wanted to see if Ken or John were able to help you?

Thank you!
