How many years does the owner/management have of related experience?
What is their radius of operations?
Any federal filings required?
What do they haul?

If you want to write your self then I would try Royal Oak underwriters. There trucking liability can be quoted and bound with no underwriting. 10% comm plus $20. Or try j&jins.Com. If neither one of them will work we can write it for you and split commission

We have access to a few different carriers that can write a risk like this (3) (it probably would not be worth your while to sign on with then unless you will have several more of these risks) We only bind transportation risks and would be happy to help/provide any info to get done... there are a few questions regarding CDL etc - but could get done with 1 day of CDL..

If you want to keep control of the business, we can write it and pay you a % of the commission but you handle the client like you wrote it yourself. You will have copies of the policy and everything.

But before that what is he hauling?
Interstate or Intrastate hauling?
