Looking for a new HOA market, maybe a market that has been in the HOA business for a while and left and wants to be competitive again or a new market that is willing to look at a program deal. We have a large book of HOA business for both homes and condo associations in the western region including NV, CA, AZ, UT, CO and looking for a program for admitted and non-admitted business that will be competitive on these risks. I have ideas that we can discuss if any program manager or carrier is interested please contact me. Thanks in advance. Amber

Hi Amber,

Hope you're doing well!

Colonial General provides HOA coverage in NV, CA, AZ, UT and CO.

They provide: Property and Liability coverages available on mono-line or package basis for established community associations where all development or construction operations have been completed. These include single-family homeowner associations, townhouse or town home associations, residential, condominium associations, time-share condominium associations, and cooperative housing corporations.

They are admitted in most markets, but I would contact them directly in regards to your risks.

Here is a link to send them an inquiry on their Community Association Insurance Storefront

Please let me know if you need any further assistance.

Thank you!

I don't know about the western states, but in my area Farmers is head and shoulders above the major carriers in the HOA market from a coverage and price standpoint. Beware though the percentage of leased units, however.

Best of luck!
