Hello Peers We currently write a High Value Homeowner in TX with Chubb. They are undergoing a 120 day renovation project, the contract for which includes a mutual waiver of subrogation clause. Chubb requested the contract when we asked for improvements to be added to the policy, and now they want OFF the policy altogether, because of the WOS Clause. Contractor said that this standard verbiage in all their contracts and this is the first time this issue came up. Other Carriers will not accept the risk while renovation is going on. I have a client who is starting his own pest & lawn spraying company. He has worked for other people doing the same thing, including management for over 10 year. I am trying to place a commercial auto for his two trucks and and a 1,000,000/2,000,000 General Liability policy. I have been trying for weeks to find someone to even quote the risk. As just a life and annuity agent, I feel I do just as good of a job in protecting my client's income and assets without having to sell stocks or mutual funds. I also do not have a CFP or RIA, is this important to have?

I have a client who hauls taxidermy from taxidermist to owner. I got a quote for his cargo and it was astronomical. He keeps telling me that everyone else is paying so much less. I can't substatiate his claim. The people I have talked to just say that is how it is. I'm wondering if anyone has ever helped any type of shipping company to sell the cargo insurance to the owner of the item being shipped. I've seen other shippers do it, but I have no idea where to even start looking. I appreciate any input. Thanks
