Established and well structured risk management and claims adjusting firm is seeking a CAT Operations Director for their Georgia Facility. Directs the overall catastrophe claims process for an assigned group or location; ensures maximum profits by managing service delivery and controlling expenses; provides training and technical expertise to CAT adjusters; manages accounts receivable. Requires a Bachelors Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 10-15 years direct experience managing CAT Operations. In-depth knowledge of insurance coverages, insurance terminology and practices and the claims handling process .Good verbal and written communication ability. Good computer skills and expertise in use of property claims handling software. Previous in-depth property claims handling experience plus experience in a claims supervisory or branch manager role. Frequent interaction with Claims Services senior management, Catastrophe Services staff, CAT Adjusters and client claims personnel; interaction is primarily to exchange information, make sales calls, address problems and offer solutions. Requires travel and overnight stays which may be for extended periods of time during a catastrophe event. 125k-150K+bonus and full benefits package.
