This is one of my favorite quotes because I’ve seen it happen. Let’s say you have only eaten fruit that was off bushes. It tastes good, is easy to collect, and sustains you. But you’ve always wanted a juicy apple from a nearby tree, yet you’ve never attempted to get one. You will never get to taste an apple if you do not find a way to get one down. At this point you have two options, stay stagnate and eat the fruit off of the bushes, or take control and build the courage to climb up the tree and get an apple.
