Ask Your Peers  Physical Damage Coverage for a Fuel Tanker 

Hi, I'm looking for a physical damage auto policy for a fuel tanker. He distributes diesel in upstate NY. Our client has close to 8 years of trucking experience under his belt, but he just started with the tanker. This is a new venture. He currently has his auto liability coverage with Assigned Risk, and he's looking for physical damage coverage for the tanker. Value is $130,000. I've tried multiple carrier who do this and they all had a problem either with the fact that it is just one unit or that he doesn't have a Hazmat Endorsement on his license for at least 2 years. I would take auto liability and physical damage coverage, or physical damage coverage only. Does anyone know of a carrier who would do this?
