Is there a market that will write property rented to you only. I need more than the $300,000 limits offered. Need $1,000,000.

I've had carriers write the property - first party limit to1,ooo,ooo and add the owner as additional named insured to meet the lease requirements - and with flexibility in rating, wasn't too pricy.

Hi Steven,

Thank you for using CompleteMarkets!

Our FindIt Market search is a valuable tool that enables you to search by market and state to find companies that can help you write this risk.

I have completed a search for companies that provide Rental Dwellings in Texas, here is a link to the search results

I took a look at the three companies that came up in this result and it looks like All Risks Personal Lines Insurance may be the best place to start. It says it is for 1&2 Family Homeowners, 1-4 Family Rentals, as well as 1-4 Family Vacant Dwellings, and 1-4 Family Builders Risk. Here is the link to find more information about this product. If you are interested you can request a quote from them directly.

I also looked at the two other companies that came up in this search result, and it looks like one of them has a minimum of 10 properties. The second does not list any information on if they have a minimum. Click here to submit a request to the two companies that may be able to help from the search results

Thank you!

I sugget you write this on a property form not the Gl form. The gl form only pays in the event of fire. You better check the lease to see what owner is responsible for in coverage.
